“Why Are All of My Kids Crying?” Toddler Temper and Tears
Does it seem like you spend all day rushing from one toddler emotional crisis to another? Is your room an echo chamber of whines, screams, and wails? Toddlers and twos don’t yet have the skills and the brain development to regulate their emotions on their own, so their emotional reactions can often seem way out of proportion and frustrating to teachers.
This training will provide some background on why young children react the way they do, and some steps you can take to help your kids manage their emotions, calm down more quickly, and start to make sense of their world.

Things happen! If for some reason you are unable to attend this training after you have registered, you may send someone in your place! Just be sure to let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for trainings, unless Buncombe Partnership for Children cancels the event. Instead, we do offer ‘credits’ that can be applied to future trainings you wish to attend. To receive credits for future training you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. You are responsible for contacting us should you wish you transfer your credit to another training.
Can I pay with cash or check?
If your organization must pay by check, please contact Stacy Lutz-Ovies at 828.407.2066 or email@example.com. All checks are due 72 hours in advance unless otherwise agreed upon.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash. If you do not have a credit card or feel uncomfortable using a credit card online, consider asking a friend to register you and giving them cash.
I’m going to be running late. Can I still attend?
Unfortunately, DCDEE rules do not allow for credit to be given to participants that miss more than 15 minutes of a training. The participant is welcome to still attend, but CHCs or CEUs cannot be given.
