Whether you are considering starting or expanding a home or center-based child care business, or you are a provider interested in strengthening the business side of your existing child care center, Child Care Business Basics will be of assistance to you. Participating centers may receive a one-time, enhanced payment of $1,000 if the Director successfully completes a Business Basics training series (7 of 8 classes required for completion). This enhanced payment will be limited to one per grantee per fiscal year.
Here is a quote from one of the participants from our first CCBB Cohort: “I still pull notes and information from what I learned in CCBB. This series is pushing the leaders in our field to be armed with a wealth of knowledge ranging from big picture business goal-setting to the detailed workings of hiring staff and managing finances. I feel much less intimidated by the business side of early childhood education. I learned how both the business and education aspects of an organization can work together to create quality centers and homes in Buncombe County.”
Snacks will be provided
**Must be currently enrolled in the SFQ program to receive the $1,000 bonus.
