PIZZA NIGHT: Come and enjoy PIZZA and a training on LGBTQIA culturally competent practices tonight.
In-Person Training: What About Me? LGBTQIA Culturally Competent Practices for Early Childhood Classrooms
As early education professionals, in all settings from Family Child Care to Head Start, we are in a unique position to welcome, embrace, and empower LGBTQIA families in a way that supports children and families alike.
Join us for a candid discussion about our role as educators in supporting all families. We will discuss the power of creating a culture of explicit welcome where all children and adults see themselves and their loved ones as valued members of the community. You will leave with specific and easy-to-use strategies for building cultural competence within your own classroom, school, and community.
PIZZA NIGHT: We will be serving PIZZA ahead of the training so come a bit early and enjoy a bite to eat.
