This 2-hr training is designed to empower educators and caregivers with the essential skills and techniques to effectively facilitate provocations for children between the ages of 2 and 5. Provocations are thoughtfully crafted invitations or materials that ignite children’s natural curiosity, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Through interactive demonstrations, participants will learn how to create dynamic learning environments that encourage exploration, experimentation, problem-solving, and creativity. This training will explore various strategies for setting up provocations, selecting engaging materials, observing children’s responses, and extending their learning through open-ended questions and meaningful interactions. By the end of this training, participants will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to begin creating rich, stimulating experiences that promote holistic development and lifelong love for learning in young children.
