Online- Directors Community of Practice

The purpose of this Community of Practice is to have dedicated space for directors to learn from and connect with each other around the issues most pressing to THEM. The topics of these free monthly sessions will be largely participant-directed. Some will be wide-open conversations where directors can pose questions and share resources. Some may include a “guest speaker” or a presentation to address specific questions that arose in previous sessions. Topics may include the latest DCDEE updates, HR issues, financial/business leadership, engaging with families, supporting and retaining teachers, etc.

Topic: Supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing for Early Childhood Staff with Laura Martin and Gabriel Guyton of Verner Center for Early Learning. Join us in listening to Laura and Gabriel discuss how they have focused on supporting the mental health needs of staff, as well as created a culture of care and center wellbeing.
