Online Directors Community of Practice
BPFC strives to offer directors with as much support as possible, especially during this unprecedented time. Do you want a space to share your concerns with others in the same situation? Do you have questions about what’s happening, what resources are available, or what rules have changed? Do you have resources to share? The topics of these free, bi-weekly, sessions (facilitated by Jenny Vial and Deanna LaMotte) will be participant-directed. Some will be wide-open conversations where directors can pose questions and share resources. Some may include a “guest speaker” or a presentation to address questions that arose in previous sessions. Topics may include the latest COVID-19 guidance, HR issues, financial/business leadership, engaging with families, supporting and retaining teachers, etc. Whether or not your center is currently open, whether or not you are working, you are welcome to join your Early Childhood colleagues for supportive discussion and conversation.
You may “drop in” to sessions as you are able. Registering is NOT a commitment to attend all sessions. Registration will add you to a list to receive brief notifications of upcoming session topics, and Zoom links and related materials. Attendance will be taken and credit hours awarded in October for any sessions attended.
Please note: This event takes place Online through Zoom. Internet access is required to participate. Sign up here via Eventbrite to get the Zoom login information. A link will be sent to you prior to the first session so you can access Zoom to participate.We hope to see you there!

Time: 1pm to 2:00pm
Directors: Meet every other Thursday 1pm-2:00pm – Thursday June 18th first date.
Credit: One contact hour will be awarded for each session attended, for a total of 8 possible credits. Certificates distributed at the end of the series (mid-October).
