It’s Time for Kindergarten: Family Information Session (In-Person at the YWCA of Asheville)

Do you have a rising kindergartner and questions about what it means to be “ready for kindergarten”?

Join us for this FREE information session with Buncombe County Schools and Asheville City Schools representatives that will include information about what to expect as you support your child’s transition to kindergarten. Individuals who attend are eligible to receive a Kaplan Kindergarten Readiness Kit, which includes great resources for families and materials for kids.

** Limited child care space available on a first come, first serve basis with registration. If you select that you would like child care in the registration process, we will contact you to let you know if there is space.**

Who Should Attend: Families with rising kindergartners, or any adult with a rising kindergartener in their life who is curious about how best to support them.
