Support Infant and Toddler Child Care

The Biltmore Company is partnering with the Buncombe Partnership for Children to expand child care for infants and toddlers in Buncombe County. The child care market currently provides slots for only 7% of babies born every year. This situation hurts families, employers, child care providers, and the community. Together, we can change it!

The Biltmore Company is donating $50,000 a year from 2023 through 2025 to support child care providers. We invite other local businesses and employers to join them. Donate to turn the tide on this crisis.

Year 1 Progress

We awarded three grants in October 2023 to support Sprouts Early Learning Academy, East Asheville Academy, and Evolve Early Learning to create 25 new slots. We’ll award the next round of grants in summer 2024. Businesses donating $10,000 or more may be eligible for priority for a child care slot one or more of their employees.
